Double Triangle 2: My Crazy Valentine

Remember what happened to Vince back in "When Rivals Go Too Far"? Well...he's one of the two main characters in this stand alone story. Will he succeed in getting Tiffany? Or will he settle for Lena? As for Alejandro, he's on the hunt for his own date for the couple's ball, which took place on Valentine's Day. But will he ever get one? Find out right here!

Anyway...11 days ago and a day before the Couples' Ball...

Love is in the air...And people in town are falling in love...

But Vince has a problem. He wants to show Tiffany his affection. But this may be his last chance to do so!

But Alejandro has a solution: They each find a date for the Couples' Ball (always held on Valentine's Day) before midnight, otherwise they would have to go with the single girls to their party outside of town that same day. The men reluctantly agree!

It looks like Alejandro went all out on the candy and roses!

Vince Isn't that a bit much?
Alejandro No. Besides, I believe women love bigger bouquets! As some would say, the bigger they are, the better chance I'll have at winning women over!
Trevor More like facing your ex-girlfriend's wrath at double-crossing than getting women!

The rest of the guys laugh.

Alejandro Very funny, boys. But with these roses and this chocolate, I'm very sure to win a woman in no time!
Vince As long as it's not Tiffany, I'm cool with that!

So the competition is on!

So Alejandro decided to pay Rose a visit first. But instead, he finds that Wesley has found her first as he presented Rose with a bouquet of pink roses!

Rose For me?
Wesley (giving her the roses) Yep! And I really hope we can be boyfriend and girlfriend!
Rose (giggly) I love the roses! That's so sweet of you! Thank you! Of course I'll be your girlfriend!
Alejandro was shocked! Someone else stole his ex-girlfriend!

Alejandro (to himself) This sucks royally! I was supposed to be the one winning Rose back! Not some other guy with only a half dozen pink roses! Me! Oh well! Life goes on! Time to see what other beautiful fish are at the sea!

Meanwhile, Trevor, the new guy, wins Natasha over!

Alejandro pays Misty a visit next! Again, another guy beats him to her!

Meanwhile, Claude wins another girl over!

Alejandro strikes out again!

Meanwhile, Vince pays Tiffany a visit to tell her his true feelings! But his last chances blow out like a flame on a birthday candle when he sees Tiffany with Garth! But nonetheless...

Vince wants to talk to Tiffany anyway. So Tiffany reluctantly agrees to listen to what he has to say.

Meanwhile, Alejandro tries to ask Emily to the Couples' Ball, but Duncan's sudden appearance makes her change her mind all at once.

Alejandro (to himself) Not even close. This is seriously irritating! Onto the next lady!

So he visits Serena next, but that was pretty much pointless, since she has Tim!

Alejandro (to himself) Seriously?! REALLY?! COME...ON!!

Meanwhile, Tiffany finally makes Vince understand that she likes him as a friend and not as a boyfriend! She also tells him that there are plenty of other girls in town and he should go to them!

Vince, feeling rejected, reluctantly accepts defeat at last. But what will he do now?

Meanwhile, at a Fashion Fever Boutique, Lena talks to the girls about what she could do about her feelings for Vince.

Clarisse Perhaps you can tell him your feelings right away!
Lena Are you sure? He likes Tiffany a lot!

A short time later, Alejandro arrives at the shop.
Alejandro So Lena, how a date to the Couples' Ball?

Lena (unfazed) No thanks. But thanks for the offer!
Alejandro (disappointed) Okay. But don't say I didn't offer!

Clarisse (after Alejandro leaves) Anyway, about Vince, it wouldn't hurt to tell him anyway.
Lena You're right! I'll do it! But since Alejandro needs a date for the dance, could you consider in my place?
Clarisse I'll think about it.

Anyway, Alejandro arrives at the Hangout Room where Marshall works.

Marshall Oh! Hi, Alejandro! Anything you need?
Alejandro (sighs) I need a date for the Couples' Ball. Could you help me out?
Marshall (cheerfully) Sure, man! It may not be cheap, but I'll do what I can! But meet me outside in thirty, okay?
Alejandro (sighs) Okay.

Thirty minutes later, Marshall and Alejandro meet outside the vet clinic to chat about the price of the finding of the dates.

Marshall (sighs) My company's not a dating business, but since you need a date for the dance, it's going to cost you extra.
Alejandro (sighs) How much?
Marshall (clearly) One thousand dollars. In advance.
Alejandro (outraged) ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS?!
Marshall Hey, I have to help the business run smoothly, too! Besides, either you take my offer, or do the whole deal yourself. You're not going to find another inspector anywhere else in town, though. So one thousand dollars. Take it or leave it.
Alejandro (sighs, giving Marshall the money) Fine. Here's the thousand dollars. But you better do your job. Or I want my money back!
Marshall (accepting the money) Always!

Meanwhile, Vince, heartbroken, decided to walk away as Tiffany and Garth begin to make out.

So after Vince does, he decided that it's time to give up on Tiffany and take her advice.

Vince (sadly) I guess it's time to give up and move on. Besides, I can't chase Tiffany forever.

Just as he says that, Lena arrives! Turns out she's got something to say!

Lena Vince, what's wrong?
Vince Tiffany rejected me...again. I can't do this to her anymore. It wouldn't be fair to either one of us, let alone Garth. So I decided to give up on her and find someone else to give my heart to.
Lena Well, whatever happens, I'm here for you. But can I tell you something, though?
Vince Sure.

Lena I know you won't believe this, but I had feelings for you since middle school! And I've been waiting to tell you this since back then, but I decided not to wait anymore! After all, I'm telling you this, Vince: I'm in love with you! If you don't care about that, I'll understand!

Vince (hesitant) Well...if you're up for it...

Vince Then I'm in for it!

Lena (surprised) Really? Are you sure, then?
Vince (shyly) Well...yeah!

Vince (showing Lena the bouquet and box of chocolates) Since this is a little early, happy Valentine's day! These are for you!
Lena (surprised) Really, Vince?
Vince Yep!

Lena Thank you, Vince! That's incredibly sweet of you!

She leans over to kiss his cheek.

Vince So, can I be your date for the Couples' Ball?
Lena Absolutely! I love to!

Meanwhile, after two hours of waiting for Marshall to come back with results, the inspector finally arrives.

Alejandro (impatiently) Got anything?
Marshall (laughs) Wow. Aren't you uppity tonight? But anyway, yes, I have the results! But do you really want to know?

Alejandro (sighs) Yes. Bring it on!
Marshall (laughs again) Okay, Casanova! Hold your horses. Here it goes.

So anyway, after reading the list, the results were that only five girls (will not be mentioned until later on, maybe) were interested in being his date for the Couples' Dance.

Alejandro (disappointed) That's all? I thought there would be more than that, considering how handsome I am!
Marshall (sighs) Well, nothing I can do. Sorry! You get what you paid for.

Marshall But anyway, gotta go! Hope at least one girl will be your date! Good luck! See ya!
Alejandro (sighs) Yeah. See ya.

After Marshall leaves, in a fit of rage, Alejandro throws the chocolates and the roses on the ground, believing there is no hope for him.

Alejandro (angrily) AAARRRGGGHHH!!! I CAN'T TAKE THIS! IS THERE ANY WOMAN OUT THERE WHO WOULD BE MY DATE FOR THE STUPID DANCE?! THIS SUCKS!

Just then Clarisse shows up.

Clarisse You know, if you calm down maybe I'll be your date for the dance.
Alejandro (hopefully) Really?
Clarisse (sighs) Yes, really. But just this once! And only once! I need a break from going to the Single Party this year!
Alejandro Okay, then. I accept.

Meanwhile, Rose and Wesley, finally together, begin to wonder what was going on with Alejandro.

Rose Speaking of that jerk, I wonder if he has a date for the Couples' Ball after all?
Wesley (smiling) Knowing his dumb luck, he probably does already.

Wesley At least we don't have to worry about him coming between us because I have you. And guess what, Rose? I love you!
Rose I love you, too, Wes!

Then they begin to kiss, indicating the start of a new relationship!

The end

Here's a current update: Alejandro's date at the Couples' Ball didn't go so well. Clarisse, his date, got bored of him when he stared at her "you know whats". She called him a pig at the end of the night and regretted saying that she'll go to the party with him. Poor girl. Alejandro should've went with the single girls :(

But at least Vince and the other guys and their dates had fun that time! :)

When Rivals Go Too Far Has Ended

Hi! As you know, "When Rivals Go Too Far" has ended! So here are the recaps some of you are anxiously waiting to hear. So here they are:

Jennifer Giles and Helena Parker have their first confrontation in years at the Anniversary Party!
Alejandro Quarleno flirts with Jennifer Giles, but her hubby, Scott Zoolander, isn't too happy about it and begins to fight with him.
All three, who work for Davis Burton, get fired after taking too long a break and fighting.
Duncan Scott (remember him from Double Triangle?) also quits his job to pursue other interests.
Scott plans to leave Jen.
Jen bribes Duncan into stopping him.
Helena decides to help Scott leave his wife.
Jennifer finds out about it but decides to stay in case she finds out what other skeletons Helena has in her closet.
It turns out Helena was planning Jennifer to get fired with Alejandro's flirting from the start!
Helena kisses Alejandro as a reward for his part in Jennifer losing her job and her husband.
Jennifer tells Mario about Helena.
Poor Duncan sits on Scott's ride and gets found out.
Helena and Jennifer fight again.
Scott and Helena's plan fails the first time.
Scott still intends to leave Jennifer anyway.
Duncan learns he's being used.
We learn Helena's twin sister, Hannah, is pregnant (with her lover Greg North's baby)
Duncan and Emily decide to keep their secret.
Rose and Wesley are suspicious of Helena and Alejandro.
Alejandro looks like he's got his own agenda. And it's not looking too good.
Mario is getting suspicious of Helena.
Jennifer and Scott argue once more. And it looks like their marriage is over.
Jennifer and Helena fight again.
Scott puts his and Helena's plan in motion by asking for Duncan's help.
Duncan decided not to get involved in Scott's plans ever again.
But in the meantime, Alejandro listens in...again.
Alejandro tells Jennifer that Scott has left town. Jennifer decides to follow suit.
Her ordeal ended in tragedy...Scott and Helena were revealed to have left for the airport rather than the train station.
Lena picks Jennifer up and tries to cheer her up.
It turns out that Vince still likes Tiffany! ;)
And Helena is revealed to be against her family for siding with Hannah for reasons yet to be revealed.
Mario is revealed to have still cheated on Helena with Reina.
Reina is pregnant, too!
Helena looks for Mario and Hannah during the Holiday Ball and tries to call them but to no avail.
Helena confronts Jennifer about them.
Jennifer lies to her about them.
Helena looks for them at the New Year's Eve Party (once again...no avail).
Tiffany and Garth fall in love much to Vince's dismay (little did he realize that Lena's in love with him, too).
Helena figures out Jennifer's lies about Mario and Hannah. She also figures out about Duncan's secret.
Rose and Wesley worry about Helena's intentions. And are suspicious of Alejandro's intentions, too.
Helena vows to get revenge on Duncan.
Helena gets drunk afterwards during Outtakes. Rose and Wesley stop her.
A month and six days later...Helena attacks Duncan during a doctor's visit. Wesley and Rose try to stop her.
The doctors save them.
Helena loses her job as a nurse for the attack.
Rumors about Helena's attack on Duncan run amok.
Alejandro prepares to put his suspicious plan in motion.
Jennifer decides to use the rumors about Helena to her advantage.
Mario and Hannah find out about Helena's deed and aren't too happy about it.
Mario decides to break up with Helena and uses Alejandro to help him arrange it.
Wesley finds out about Alejandro's plan and decides to warn Rose about it.
Jennifer decides to get revenge on Alejandro. But Rose isn't too sure about it.
Alejandro decides to trick Rose into taking him back, but Jennifer intervenes by asking him to take her to dinner. Alejandro complies willingly.
Tiffany decides to go on a date with Vince. He shows up late. But they go anyway.
Wesley warns Rose about Alejandro's intentions. She isn't too happy about it and vows to stop him with Wesley's help.
Duncan and Emily worry about what's going to happen at the Dining House.
Helena goes to meet Mario at the Dining House.
Helena meets Mario at the Heart Table while Alex and Olivia are on a dinner date themselves.
Jennifer and Alejandro arrive at the Dining House as well.
Vince and Tiffany try to enjoy their dinner date. It's not going well.
Jason, Misty, and Emily worry about what's going to happen next. But Duncan has a plan in case something happens.
Mario finally breaks up with Helena. She's really upset and on the verge on attacking him when Jennifer and Alejandro show up at their table.
Mario leaves the room. Before Alejandro can make a move on the girls, Helena rejects his offer for a threesome, leaving him disappointed, forcing him to also leave the room.
Olivia and Alex wonder what's going on across the room and worry what's going to happen next.
Mario leaves the Dining House with confidence.
Alejandro, on the other hand, leaves the house in disappointment.
Jennifer and Helena, after months of restraining themselves, finally begin to fight...
And straight into Olivia and Alex's table, although they got off just in time to avoid being caught in the crossfire.
The fight enters the first floor where Vince and Tiffany are. The fight not only ruins Tiffany's dress, but also her date with Vince, so she leaves in tears.
Meanwhile, Duncan calls security.
Olivia and Alex leave the Dining House, while everyone outside worries about the hostess.
Meanwhile, Alejandro tries to run home to avoid being caught over his intentions about Helena and Jennifer when he is tripped by Wesley and confronted by him and Rose!
Helena and Jennifer are arrested.
Duncan and Emily survey the damage...
While Marshall talks to the manager about the crime.
Tiffany is comforted by Garth as Vince looks on.
Hannah and Greg find out about Helena's deed through Mario and are devastated.
Everyone else hears about what happened at the Dining House.
Meanwhile, Rose tells Misty about what happened with Alejandro.
Lena consoles Vince.
Helena is slammed with three separate lawsuits. But Jennifer is only slammed with two.
The two women are charged with fixing the Dining House to avoid jail time and each pay a $25,000 fine, but both decided to put up a year-long restraining order.
Jennifer fixes the Dining House all by herself and celebrates with the others.
Helena does not and will be facing jail time when she gets home from her too-strict Uncle Sid's house on the West Coast for half a year.
Jennifer decides to go to Sweden for half a year to celebrate for reasons unknown.
Helena rebuffs her sister again.
Jennifer asks Lena and Tiffany for one more favor...they accept willingly.
Helena and Jennifer leave for a six months.
Duncan, Emily, Wesley, and Rose wonder what would happen if they fight again.
Sapphiria drives Helena to the train station while Lena drives Jennifer to the airport. As they do, Jennifer waves to Helena goodbye for now as she and Lena go by.
Helena is jealous and mad as Sapphiria drives her to the train station.
Jennifer feels satisfaction after seeing the look on Helena's face.
Duncan closes the miniseries.

And so...here's a special current update!

A new but short story is coming up tomorrow (hopefully) and you won't believe who hooks up with who although Duncan will make a special appearance!

Scott is currently with his mistress in New York City (he'll be back someday).
Alejandro will try to get a date in the new story.
Mario is still with Reina (the birth of their child will be revealed soon)
Hannah and Greg are still together (the birth of their child will also be revealed soon)
Jennifer is having a wonderful time in Sweden with her new boyfriend. And she may file for divorce once she returns from her vacation.
Helena, on the other hand, isn't having fun at her Uncle Sid's house (he's making her do hard chores all day, everyday) and she hasn't gotten a new boyfriend yet.
We still don't know if it's the last we seen of Helena and Jennifer's rivalry.

When Rivals Go Too Far: The Conclusion

Okay. Here's the thing: Jennifer not only paid her share of the damages done to the Dining House, but she also repaired and cleaned it all by herself without any help at all! Plus, she paid the lawsuits from her bank account.
And after all that, everyone is happy if her good deeds!

Helena, on the other hand, did not (not only did she not want to help, but it was because of the restraining order they agreed upon). So she will not only have to pay the other half of the damages done to the Dining House, but will also be faced with jail time. Maybe some community service, too.

But first thing's first, before serving jail time, Helena's parents received a call from their mayor. After finding out what Helena did, they decided that she will have to go to her too-strict Uncle Sid's house on the West Coast for half a year. And she'll have to settle the lawsuits and jail time when she gets back. So much for attending her ten-year high school reunion! Oh well!

But everyone is celebrating and congratulating Jennifer on a job well done at the Dining House!

And it seems everyone's happy!

It seems Jennifer's happy now!

But Jennifer decides to go to Sweden to celebrate her success! But what she's really celebrating about remains a mystery!

Rose Are you sure you want to go to Sweden?
Jennifer (proudly) That's right! I deserve a vacation! Maybe get a hot boyfriend while I'm there! And you know what? As long as I don't see Helena again, I'll be great. Maybe I'll consider divorcing Scott when I get back!
Wesley (laughing) Okay! Just bring back some souvenirs while you're at it!
Jennifer We'll see.

Helena, however, isn't too happy about the way things are going for her recently.

Duncan You know, Helena, if you're good for your dear "Uncle Sid" you just might bring yourself back another boyfriend!
Helena (pouting) Maybe I will, maybe I won't! But as long as I don't have to see Little Miss Sunshine again, I'll be fine! Just peachy!
Emily And as long as my poor boyfriend doesn't get involved in your schemes again, we'll be fine, too, right?
Helena (grumpily) Yeah, whatever.

Hannah tries to talk to Helena, but she rebuffs her!

Jennifer asks one more favor...And Tiffany and Lena accept!

With both rivals in their respective rigs, the rivals leave town for their half-year leave.

Duncan, Emily, Rose and Wesley watch Jennifer and Helena leave town.

Emily I wonder if they'll butt heads again once their restraining order is over.
Rose I sure hope not! Otherwise, there's going to be more trouble for all of us!

Sapphiria decided to drive Helena to the train station that takes her to her Uncle Sid's house (not directly, but close).

Helena So where's Sunshine Girl going?
Sapphiria Why are asking me that?
Helena Just curious.
Sapphiria (sighs) Well, Jennifer said that she's going to Sweden for a six-month vacation while you're at your Uncle Sid's house!
Helena (outraged) What?!
Sapphiria That's what she said.

Helena growls.
